Proceeds Benefit:
- Bikes Belong Foundation-which raises awareness and funds for cycling safety and children's bicycle programs
- Communities in Schools of Randolph County Backpack Pals-providing nutritional meals for children to have over the weekend
- Riders, spectators and Fans please bring items for the backpacks such as canned meat, juice boxes, cereal bars, fruit cups, crackers,
pudding cups, and individual peanut butter
About the Cycling Event:
- 3 different courses (50K, 70K and 100K) for the recreational rider as well as the avid cyclist:
- Event timed and scored
- 3 King of Mountain Challenges on 100K route
- Sprint Finish
- Overall Winner
- Rest Stops
- SAG Vehicle Support
- Snacks before ride
- Meal after ride
- Door Prizes
- Bobby Labonte Foundation teams up with Tour de Kale and Operation Red Sleigh to offer cyclists a more competitive atmosphere if desired.
- Participants wishing to have a chance at the cash prizes at the end of the 3 series MUST participate in all 3 events (Bobby Labonte Foundation, Tour de Kale, and Operation Red Sleigh)
